Consumer rights & cancellations

Under Australian consumer protection laws, you may have rights to cancel certain transactions, obtain refunds for defective items, and receive clear information about pricing and shipping before purchase.

We provide accurate product descriptions and final pricing (taxes and shipping displayed at checkout).
Cancellations prior to shipment: contact us immediately; we will attempt to cancel and issue a refund where feasible.
After shipment: follow the returns procedure in section "Returns & refunds".

Shipping, delivery & taxes

We ship across Australia. Delivery estimates vary by destination and shipping method chosen at checkout. All Australian orders are subject to applicable GST/HST/PST as required; we collect taxes where legally applicable and display them during checkout.

Processing time: typically 1–3 business days.
Shipping carriers: standard couriers; tracking provided via email.
Import duties: not applicable for domestic Australia shipments; for cross-border orders, duties may apply per destination rules.

Returns & refunds

We maintain a clear returns process in line with Australian consumer protection expectations. Read the accordion below for details by case.

Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery for unopened, resalable items. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise stated. Refunds processed after inspection.

If an item is defective or incorrect, notify us within 30 days. We will provide a prepaid return label where applicable and issue a full refund or replacement promptly after verification.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of receipt and processing. If you paid by card, your issuing bank may take additional time.

Personal data processing follows our Privacy Policy. We collect data necessary for order processing, shipping, payments, and customer support. Warranties, liability & product claims

Manufacturer warranties for pens, notebooks, and accessories are provided where applicable. Optiondiscovery's liability for direct damages is limited to the purchase price of the product, except where prohibited by law. We do not exclude or limit statutory rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
